Applications Invited For JRF In DBT Funded Research Project

Applications are invited for ONE Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a DBT funded research project entitled 'A mariner transposon based mutagenesis system for the enhanced production of biosurfactant to be applied for the oil removal from petroleum oil refinery sludge'


  • Rs. 25000 + 10% HRA

Duration:3 Years

Qualification: M.Sc/M.Tech Biotechnology/Environmental Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology with a minimum of 60% marks having good academic record. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates and the candidate having experience in Environmental bioremediation, Industrial liquid and solid waste management, Bioprocess Engineering, Strain improvement process, Cloning and mutation techniques.

Registration for Ph.D.:

  • Selected candidate will be advised to register for full time Ph.D. program at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), Kattankulathur.
